Septic System
The septic system consists of a 1000 gallon “Low Boy” concrete tank, a pump tank with alarm and a 20’ x 50’ leach field. For a detailed view of the components, see the PDF file below.
The tank is a “Low Boy” type, due to ledge being present in the immediate are. This also necessitated pumping the “Gray Water” through a 2” black Polyethylene pipe to the draining field. All outdoor pump electrical connections are in an above ground power post near the pump and tank location. There are pressure treated panels on the ground that access both tanks for pumping. There is also an alarm that would signal any pump failure, located in the basement of the house.
